my newest obsession: KINGS, a story based on the Biblical tale of King David. Really excellent stuff (I'm only four episodes in but this is GREAT TV). I expect this kind of a show from HBO, but NBC has really picked a great show. I don't know if it will get a second season but I really hope it does. Since last year's challenge of 500 episodes in one year was so easy to complete, I decided to increase the challenge a little. 2009/2010 is looking like it will be a very busy year for me, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to surpass 1,000 episodes watched. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Rather than listing the episodes in the order I watch them, I will be categorizing my list by show title first. I normally watch one show at a time anyway, and this way the list will be more coherent. Hopefully this makes sense to everyone!

changed the layout yet again. what can i say, i get bored quite often.

so i was supposed to be a work right now but alas there was a flood! none of the artwork - to my understand - was damaged, a few sculptures got hit but i think they were outside ones anyway. but the office/basement is a mess! john d found me and was like "oh yeah i think i forgot to call all the interns and tell them to call john urgo tomorrow to see if he needs them". he's such a space case sometimes, a sweet guy but a little wacky. so i drove to new britain from west haven (like 45minutes north) and then was there for 5 minutes. oh tuesdays.

other than that things are swell. i'm going to run by the beach for an hour or two, then maybe layout and tan/read my book. my summer reading challenge has slowed down - need more books to read! if only i had money :(

got a babysitting job for $100/day for three days for this little girl from belgium. start that July 30th. oh! and i'm going to aruba!! :D i love aruba and was talking to my mom about how we haven't like gone anywhere as a family as of late and she was like i have 2 weeks vacation wanna go? HELLZ YEZ PLZ.

i'm officially excited for family vacation. oh well gotta go for the run i suppose, or walk, or something.

So a quick (not-so-short) summer update. Some shows I've picked up, fandom things and a few personal things.

So new shows. Well I've finished Robin Hood (BBC edition) up to Season 2 right now, but I absolutely adore Jonas Armstrong! It's a great show. BBC seems to always strike gold in my eyes. I also started a re-watch of Torchwood. Only four episodes in but I'm still undecided. On a whole I like Jack Harkness but Gwen just pisses me off. She's like too goody to shoes and it just irks me. I'll finish up to Series 2 and maybe start on Season 3 whenever it begins (i believe it's start now? maybe?). I've also started to watch Wonderfalls. OMG  I LURVES IT. I started watching all because of visualthinker11  and her amazing icon posts.

Summer's been swell so far. Internship is AMAZING. I'm loving ever second spent in the cold AC basement with some fugly art some pretty art and some okay art. But seriously I love it. I don't think I've ever felt so much at home in a work enviornment. It's a lot of fun, the people there are great and i don't know it just feels good to be there doing something I know I'd like to do in the future.

In fandom news, legendlims  has been going pretty well. Summer hiatus has set in so participation is kinda low. I joined whedonland  as Team Firefly. Lots of fun there! I miss all of those shows, minus Dollhouse since that is alive! Should be some fun in the LJ world this summer.

Like Joss Whedon? Buffy? Angel? Firefly? Dollhouse? Join whedonland , apply for a team and start the fight against the apocolypse! :D
